Pediatric posterior lenticonus cataract, posterior capsulorhexis with optic capture toric IOL

3 year-old pediatric cataract with posterior polar/lenticonus opacity. Need to be careful to prevent posterior capsule blowout/tear. Use of posterior capsulorhexis (CCC) and optic capture of IOL (in this case a Toric IOL) without the need for vitrectomy is our preferred method to prevent secondary visual axis opacification. No place for LECs to grow on post capsule or anterior hyaloid with IOL in this position, and this also provides rotational stability for this toric IOL as a side benefit.
